If there is one symbol which truly represents the Coteaux du Landion cooperative it is old hoe-type implements known as fousseux. Once used to tend the vines, they stand for the hard work of the winegrowers, their know-how and expertise, respect for the terroir and heritage. They are also a nod to Gaston Cheq’s 1911 revolution when he mobilised the winegrowers to save their vineyards.
